W00t first post!

Oh gosh, the title sounds like I'm one of those people who obsessively post on their new MySpaces and Facebooks "first comment!", or worse, those odious creatures that do it on bands' blogs "first comment! lyk ong!!1" :P Except when they're actually the second or third comment. Then it's hilarious xD

I sound so pretentious. Wowww... And there are no cool smilies here :( Screw credibility and absence of child predators, I want my MySpace smilies ;( But at least this tells you when you spell things wrong. I guess MySpace assumes you misspell stuff on purpose in you blog but accidentally in your About Me... Weird...

So. I posted 2 blogs on MySpace today, so I'm afraid I'm a bit out of new material. And my my eyes are starting to hurt. So, um, welcome; I'm Meredith; I like beavers, long story; sorry this post was so lame; I'm off to read Out of the Silent Planet and hope I can pass it off as summer reading that's above 10th grade level (you really don't want me to start. I'm sure I will some other time. In short, Harry Potter pwns all of Thoreau, Steinbeck, and Fitzgerald's works combined.)
